My Dying Bride’slatest opus and 12th full studio album, ‘Feel the Misery’, is set for release on 18th September on Peaceville Records. With crushing epic doom spanning 8 tracks, and featuring the return of original guitarist Calvin Robertshaw to the fold, this is undoubtedly amongst the band’s heaviest, darkest, & most majestic works to date, marking My Dying Bride’s 25th anniversary in punishing style, with the title track also set to feature as the album’s debut video.

‘Feel the Misery’ sees a notable return to the band’s old haunt, Academy Studios in Dewsbury West Yorkshire for recording, where all of My Dying Bride’s classic early albums were produced. The album was engineered by Dan Mullins, with mixing once more taking place at Futureworks in Manchester UK with the band’s long-time studio engineer/producer, Mags.

The band comments on the themes of ‘Feel the Misery’:

“Contained within are all the grandeur and mastery of the melancholic one would expect to find on a recording from this group of musicians. The crushing of hearts and the solemn farewells to friends and lovers twinned with the destruction of flesh and the passions of cruelty are laid neatly for the listener to devour and savour. Eight new compositions detailing the path of life through dark doors and the burdens we all must endure simply to make it to the end, My Dying Bride have returned with a foreboding new album which may enlighten, delight and consume the soul in one epic sitting”.

ELECTRIC WIZARD: Präsentieren ersten Song, "I Am Nothing", vom neuen Album "Time To Die" | Premiere new song "I Am Nothing" from forthcoming album "Time To Die"

Electric Wizard, who recently revealed the title and artwork for their Spinefarm Records debut, premiere the first new music from Time to Die, with the song I Am Nothing streaming now via Noisey or Soundcloud.

Jus Oborn has said of the track, which harnesses the dark underground death metal spirit of 1984:

“It was the year I became a metal-head.  It was heavy shit for real – there was no way you were ever going to get a decent job.  So I became a Satanist, I dug up a grave, I got into tape trading, I had a one-man noise/black/death metal band called Regurgitated Guts, and there were loads of documentaries on TV warning us not to listen to the devil’s music…”

Produced by Oborn, the album was recorded at Toe Rag Studios in East London, with analog gear used exclusively throughout, with finishing touches done at Skyhammer Studio in “deepest, darkest” Cheshire by Chris Fielding.

Electric Wizard, who have just played at Hellfest in France, Roskilde in Denmark and Sonisphere in yhe UK, have the following appearances lined up for 2014, with more shows to be added:

ELECTRIC WIZARD unveil "Time To Die" as title of forthcoming studio album; Official artwork revealed

Electric Wizard have today announced "TIME TO DIE" as the title of their forthcoming studio album; "TIME TO DIE" is the eighth full-length offering from the masters of aural punishment, and is testament to the fact that Electric ‘fucking’ Wizard continue to be the most uncompromisingly heavy, genuinely twisted and evil band in the world.

This will be their first album release since signing a worldwide deal with Spinefarm Records.

Says EW founding member, Jus Oborn: “All of our albums in the past have had a theme – revenge, drugs, black magick – and the theme of this one is death. Of course, death to us really means rebirth, so this album is a manifestation of a very primal occult belief in the final sacrifice. We have gone full circle – it was inevitable, but we had to do it. We had to kill the band so we could be reborn. It was the only way to ensure we could come back even stronger.”

The artwork, once again created by Oborn, is an extension of the theme; this is further solidified by the LP gatefold image, to be revealed at a later date.

STEAK nehmen Debüt-Album in der kalifornischen Wüste auf / STEAK to record debut album in the California desert

In exactly two weeks, London's hottest stoner outfit STEAK will hit the California desert to record their first full-length, due out this fall on Napalm Records. Turn on the generators...

After two critically acclaimed EPs Disastronaught and Corned Beef Colossus and a serie of successful gigs across Spain, France, Switzerland and England, the fuzzy foursome is packing up and heading to SoCal to record what will be an authentic desert rock full-length. The album will be recorded at Thunder Underground Studios in Palm Springs, produced by Harper Hug (Vista Chino, Yawning Man, Brant Bjork) and co-produced by Arthur Seay (from Unida and House Of Broken Promises). STEAK's debut effort is due out this fall on Napalm Records.

Within two years, STEAK have established themselves as "one of the British heavy rock scene's most satisfying acts" (The Obelisk). Following the sandy steps of their American elders Kyuss or Fu Manchu, their music is driven by frantic riffs and contagious grooves, tinged with moments of pure cosmic escapism. Exploiting sci-fi and comics imagery (each record being wrapped in fantastic artwork by DC Comics artist Eduardo Ferigato), STEAK's vibe is nothing but gutsy and lively: it's no coincidence if the band already shared stages with the likes of Monster Magnet, Lowrider and Dozer.

Here's an enthusiastic statement about the upcoming journey, from STEAK's riffmaker in chief Reece: "With the help from some desert rock legends, this album is going to be bigger and more badass than anything we have done before. We just need to make it out of Vegas alive! Thanks to Napalm Records, we have been able to take the time to create some of the best tracks to date and let them evolve naturally. DEA MARICA are an english doom metal band from London. The band was founded in 2012 by Riccardo Veronese (Gallow God) andRoberto Mura (URNA).

DEA MARICA recorded their first EP "Ritual Of The Banished" (2012). Riccardo and Roberto, joined by Marco (Urna), started the recordings of their first full-lenght album "Curse Of The Haunted" (2013). They are signed to Weird Truth Productions.
