After a trying year and the loss of their brother and band mate Athon, Black Tusk will be honoring Athon’s wishes and going on tour in Europe with Black Label Society. The band recently completed their fifth full-length record with producer Joel Grind of Toxic Holocaust at Audiosiege Studios in Portland, OR this past September.

Neue EP und Europatour angekündigt | New EP and EU-Tour announced
Nach einem kleinen Line-Up-Wechsel melden sich die Londoner Heavy-Psych-Rocker BRIGHT CURSE mit guten Neuigkeiten zurück. Außer mit dem neuem Bassisten Max Ternebring wartet die Band Anfang 2015 mit der Veröffentlichung einer neuen 12-Inch-Vinyl-EP auf. Etwas später im neuen Jahr geht's ins Studio, um das neue Album aufzunehmen. Die Termine für eine komplette Europatour werden zuzeit gebucht.
Following a slight lineup reshuffle, London heavy psych rockers BRIGHT CURSE are back in the saddle for good. The trio just unveiled the identity of their new bass player Max Ternebring, as well as the release of a new 12" EP, due out in early 2015. BRIGHT CURSE will head back to the studio later in 2015 to record their second album to date. The booking of a full European tour is also in the pipeline.

LYCANTHIA sind mit dem Song "The Harbinger" vertreten und ATTEN ASH mit "City In The Sea", um einen Vorgeschmack auf die kommenden Vollzeitalben beider Gruppen zu geben. Die Schweden OBLIVIOUS melden sich im April 2015 mit ihrem dritten Album "Out Of Wilderness" zurück. Der erste Song "Shore To Shore" wurde als Video veröffentlicht, welches das Artwork des neuen Albums präsentiert. Das neue Album von OBLIVIOUS wird bei Graphals erscheinen, dem Label und Zuhause der schwedischen Bands Siena Root, Night und Beast. Nach zwei Vorgängeralben ("Goons And Masters" 2010, "Creating Meaning" 2013) auf Transubstans Records, drei Europatouren und zahllosen Gigs quer durch Schweden hat sich die Band neue Ziele gesteckt, die sie aus der Wildnis heraus und in die Zukunft führen werden.
Die Vinyl-Version beinhaltet einen Bonustrack und eine CD samt digitalem Download Code. Es wird vier Farbvarianten geben. Die CD-Version erscheint als Digipack und enthält ebenfalls einen Download Code.

Das Ein-Mann-Doom/Death/Ambient-Projekt von Terry Vainnoras (Insomnius Dei, Cryptal Darkness, The Eternal) aus Melbourne, Australien, ist in die Toyland Studios eingezogen, um mit den Aufnahmen für das nächste Album, "Soundtracks for Our Landscapes of Failure", zu beginnen. Schlagzeuger Dan Nahum (The Veil, Dead River Runs Dry) hat dafür alle Percussion-Instrumente übernommen. Weitere Aufnahmen folgen, die Albumveröfentlichung ist für Herbst 2015 geplant.

WEEDEATER verkünden eine Handvoll Termine für ihre Europatour, welche im März 2015 stattfinden wird. Darüber hinaus gibt die US-amerkanische Sludge/Doom-Walze bekannt, dass ihr sehnlichst erwartetes neues Album fix und fertig aufgenommen wurde und darauf wartet auf die Menschheit losgelassen zu werden. Wieder einmal hat Steve Albini seine goldenen Hände an den Sound der Band angelegt, womit einem fulminanten Album-Debüt auf Season Of Mist nichts im Wege stehen dürfte – alle Zweifel wird der Dreier wie gewohnt mit bollernden Bass-Lines und vergrasten Hymnen aus dem Weg räumen!
Nachdem die ersten beiden Alben 'Sixteen Tons' und '...And Justice for Y'all' erst vor kurzem auf Season Of Mist wiederveröffentlicht worden sind, folgt am 26. WEEDEATER have announced a string of Western European tour-dates in March 2015. The notorious sludge outfit will kick off their road trip at the Kavka, in Antwerpen, Belgium on March 6th and continues to steam through five more countries until a final hit on the Burgerweeshuis in Deventer, Netherlands on the 15th of March. A full list of confirmed dates can be viewed below.
On further news, WEEDEATER have already announced the re-release of their 2007 album 'God Luck and Good Speed' on January 26th, 2015. The release date for the reissue of WEEDEATER's following album 'Jason... The Dragon' (originally released in 2011) has now been scheduled to the 23rd of February 2015. Pre-sale will begin on the 7th of January.
Furthermore the North Carolina-based band have finished recording their eagerly awaited new full-length album, which will be the first for Season of Mist, with their long-time engineer Steve Albini (HIGH ON FIRE, NEUROSIS, NIRVANA, HELMET). More details will soon be revealed in a future mailing.
